The materials, painting techniques and conservation state of the enamelled stain glass Catalan Modernist workshops operating in Barcelona are studied. It is known for its creativity artistic value where textured, flashed, coloured glasses concur. In late 19th century, used a new type ready-to-be-used enamels (lead-zinc borosilicate glass) incorporating pigment particles colourants. Although humidity, pollutants solar irradiation main causes corrosion, microstructure plays role- Enamels that contain large close to surface appear more corroded than those fully amorphous.
